What Happened

On January 9, 2026, the FDA posted an allergy alert from HerbsForever LLC covering 45 units of Hingwastik Churna and 45 units of Gastro Care dietary supplements. The company said the products may contain undeclared wheat and were distributed nationwide by mail order.

FDA's notice says people with a wheat allergy could face serious or life-threatening reactions. The company said the issue was discovered during a routine FDA inspection tied to an ingredient that may have been dried with flour containing wheat.

Why It Matters for Buyers

Supplement buyers often focus on active ingredients, but allergen controls matter too. Even herbal and digestive products can create real safety problems if a label misses a major allergen.

What to Watch Next

Shoppers with allergies should keep an eye on recall notices and read product details closely, especially for imported or traditional herbal formulas. Accurate allergen labeling matters just as much as the front-label claims.
